International Junior Schools Golf Tournament

A total of 7 Ascot golfers participated in the International Junior Schools Golf Tournament, hosted by Bromsgrove International School at Presidents Golf and Country Club on Sunday 3rd of February. The students all thoroughly enjoyed participating in such a strong field that was attended by the top International Schools in Bangkok.

All of our golfers played some excellent golf and can be extremely proud of their performances and the way they represented Ascot both on and off the golf course. As a result of this great team effort we finished in 3rd position behind ASB (1st) and Harrow (2nd), which is a fantastic result considering the quality of the other schools competing. Within this team effort there were also some fantastic individual performances from our golfers with both Guy Y4M and Bond Y9, finishing in 2nd place in their age groups, with scores of 95 and 73 respectively. The standout performance of the day though went to Meaw Y8 who shot an unbelievable round of 65, which included 10 birdies, to win her age group by 2 shots and return the lowest score out of all the competitors.
