Secondary Athletics

We performed amazingly in the TISAC Secondary Athletics yesterday with our teams finishing;

• U13's - 1st
• U15's - 2nd
• Seniors - 1st

This is a remarkable achievement, given the size of Ascot in comparison to some of the much larger schools who we were competing against. I am personally very proud of each and every one of the students who took part. I want to congratulate everyone, as it was the collective efforts of all our competitors who contributed to the overall scores. There were too many superb individual performances to mention individuals. 

As always our students were commended, by numerous teachers from other schools, on their sportsmanship and behaviour throughout the day. They were exemplary and I would like to sincerely thank you all for showing Ascot in such a  positive light!

I would like to congratulate the U15 boys and Mr. John for all their efforts over the course of the season. They have made superb progress and this was highlighted by the remarkable achievement of winning the tournament. This signifies a great turn around in the performances and standard of our basketball teams. Well done again, this is a great achievement! 

SHB Invitational 2014, Nov 9th at Lotus Valley Golf Resort

There were some very impressive performances at the golf tournament this weekend, with Tangmo (76) finishing joint first place in her category and Jenny (77) also finishing first in her category. Superb result - well done girls!!

Congratulations to Guy (Year 6) who has been selected to represent the Thailand National Golf Team (Under 11's) following on from finishing second in the Thailand Kids Golf Championship. He will be taking part in a tournament in Malaysia in December. All of us at Ascot are extremely proud of your achievement, well done!!

Pakkad - World Championships

I would like to share some photo's of Pakkad, who is currently away on a training camp in Malaysia with the Thai National Team. She is currently preparing for the Asia Championship (Oct) and Asian Beach Games (Nov). We would all like to wish her the very best of luck. 

Golf

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the golf at Lotus Valley on Sunday (28th); First (109), Tangmo (75), Jenny (77), Bas (85) and Guy (84). There were some superb individual performances with Guy and Jenny finishing 3rd in their categories and Tangmo finishing 2nd. Once again thank you and well done.

Well done and thank you to all the seniors who took part in the TISAC Table Tennis yesterday; Hanna, Pear, Emi, Isara, William, Chikara, Nobu and Devraj. Impressively we finish 2nd overall. Emi was the highest place girl, finishing 4th overall, and Devraj, the highest placed boy, who somehow finished 1st - amazing performance!
